Playing Free

You can always tell when an athlete is encumbered during games. The stress of performance anxiety or personal problems will manifest itself in his or her demeanor and play. Our bodies are intertwined with our minds and our hearts, and we’re not able to separate one from another. To succeed athletically, you need a clear mind and a pure heart. In other words, you need to play free – unhindered, upright, steady. Playing free starts with a purifying experience through total immersion in Christ Jesus. When we spiritually wash in His purifying streams, we are permanently purified. Only then are we able to play and live free!

“If you confess your sins to Him, He is faithful and just and will forgive you, and purify you from all unrighteousness.”  I Jn. 1:9

Are you ready to play free?
