The opposite of fear is courage. Courage EMPOW- ERS us when we need it most. A tide of mighty encouragement swells into a triumphant force. Courage is continuing to pursue righteousness and trust in the plans of God, despite any opposition. It takes courage to be a man of our word. It takes courage to admit when we are wrong and to live for God in this fallen world. Courage wells up from the reservoir of a Christ- infused life. The Lord helps us overcome cowardice and gives us the resolve to rise again when we’ve been knocked down. Christ in us gives us courage!
